As one of the largest and most prestigious tourism events in the Mekong region, The 16th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2022) will officially return in September 2022, continuing the success of the previous events with the improvement of scale and quality to contribute to the development of Vietnam’s tourism industry.

In order to strengthen tourism cooperation activities and promote the image of Vietnam’s tourism industry, ITE HCMC was first held in 2005 at 7th Military Region Stadium – Phu Nhuan.
Since then, ITE HCMC has been successful and achieved positive results for tourism promotion. Up to now, ITE HCMC has become a prestigious and attractive annual destination for businesses in the industry and visitors. Each time taking place, ITE HCMC constantly has updated new activities and drawn the attention of new domestic and international units to maintain its position as a major and prestigious tourism annual event.in the Mekong River region.

In particular, ITE HCMC 2018 recorded the attendance of 30,000 visitors, 300 exhibitors, 250 buyers from 45 countries and regions, and 25 international tourism media entities and 7,646 meetings between buyers and exhibitors during the 3 days of the Expo.
When it came to ITE HCMC 2019, the event marked a milestone of 15 years of continuous growth, attracting more than 350 exhibitors, including national tourism organizations, tour operators, airlines, hotels and resorts, large corporations… from 62 countries and territories, along with 40 international tourism media entities

A strong comeback to continue the success of ITE HCMC 2022
ITE HCMC 2022 officially returns with the theme: “Growing Forward Together” and aiming for contributing to the recovery and promotion of inbound tourism as well as international cooperation, marking a milestone after a two-year of stagnation due to the influence of the COVID-19.
ITE HCMC 2022 is promoting international cooperation in the tourism industry
In order to meet the increasing needs of international exhibitors and trade visitors as well as to facilitate meetings between exhibitors and buyers who cannot interact directly at the event, the Organizing Committee will optimize the forms of exhibition to be more suitable for each business.
The 16th ITE HCMC is expected to greet more than 300 exhibitors and 150 buyers from more than 50 countries and regions, along with more than 20,000 visitors.
