In the morning of September 8th, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism announced the opening of Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Expo – ITE HCMC 2022 with the theme “Growing Forward Together” at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, District 7. The event continues to affirm its role as the biggest international tourism event of the year – a bright spot in the tourism recovery picture, and opens up breakthrough opportunities for Vietnam’s tourism industry.
The opening ceremony of ITE HCMC 2022 taking place on September 8th, 2022 has attracted great attention from the domestic and foreign business community in the tourism field with the presence of special guests and a large number of exhibitors, airlines, representatives of domestic and international tourism agencies. Attending the opening, there were: Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Mr. Phan Van Mai – Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung – Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen – Secretary of HCM City Party Committee; Ms. Phan Thi Thang – Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh – Director of the General Department of Tourism and Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa – Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and representatives of the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand. In particular, there were more than 1,500 delegates from 45 provinces and cities in Vietnam and 28 countries and territories .

Breakthrough of ITE HCMC 2022 with Online Expo
With the innovation in the organizing implementation, ITE HCMC 2022 has brought to the new exhibition form which is “Online Exhibition” to serve domestic and foreign exhibitors regardless of distance. In addition to the traditional form of direct display, the Expo enhances the application of information technology and the online transaction connection system. The event will become a highlighted point in promoting inbound tourism and attracting international visitors to Vietnam.

Additionally, by registering to participate to exhibit online, exhibitors will be able to interact with visitors and receive automatic email support to connect with buyers more effectively. Buyers will also easily search the information by company name in fast and convenient ways.

09:00 – 19:00, September 10, 2022: Opens for public visitors, registration required. The last day is opened to the public, called the Travel Fun Fair Day, with a range of attractive travel packages, promotional airfares, art shows, and exciting minigames for visitors.
